Abdulrahman Istanbouli

Business Analyst

Abdulrahman is a Business Analyst at CAA Portas, currently working with us on strategy and implementation projects across the Middle East. He has supported digital transformation for 23 sports clubs and developed a five-year strategy for a fitness firm. Before joining us, he co-founded a hydroponic farm in Jeddah. He holds a degree in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship from Loyola Marymount University and has captained his university soccer team.

Abdulrahman is a Business Analyst at CAA Portas, currently working with us on strategy and implementation projects across the Middle East. He is involved in initiatives that span the sports, fitness, and leisure sectors, contributing to projects that require both analytical depth and operational insight.

He has been supporting the implementation of a digital transformation programme for 23 sports clubs, helping to modernise their operations and improve service delivery. He has also developed a five-year strategy for a firm in the fitness industry, conducting market research, site visits, and client interviews to build a comprehensive understanding of the business landscape. In addition, Abdulrahman has contributed to a golf sector project, identifying global trends, benchmarking best practices, and defining key performance indicators to inform stakeholder decision-making.

Prior to joining us, Abdulrahman co-founded a hydroponic farm based in Jeddah, later relocating to Riyadh. This experience gave him exposure to entrepreneurship and sustainable agriculture in the region.

He graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship. During his time at university, he was a finalist in a university-wide venture capital competition and served as the varsity soccer team captain. He also actively participated in long-distance running, football, and padel.
