Chris is a consultant at CAA Portas, focusing on football projects across the Middle East and Europe. He has developed business plans for professional clubs, designed national league strategies, and managed large-scale school competitions. Before joining us, he worked in M&A advisory and wealth management. Chris previously competed as a professional footballer in the Portuguese U23 Pro League.

He has been leading the development of business plans for professional football clubs, including a newly established private club in Saudi Arabia. He has also contributed to the design of licensing and financial regulations for a leading football league, and supported the refresh of a national sports strategy aimed at increasing mass participation in the UAE. Additionally, Chris has assessed the economic and social impact of major sports events and helped design the long-term strategy for a nationwide school competition in Saudi Arabia.
Before joining the company, Chris worked in M&A advisory and wealth management. He played professional football in the Portuguese U23 Pro League and was previously ranked #2 nationally in tennis before transitioning to football. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the American University of Beirut.
