More about Mary
Mary is serving as a Senior Consultant with us at CAA Portas, supporting initiatives across global regions. She has experience in strategic communications and marketing projects, contributing to business design and transformation efforts for a range of clients and internal programmes.
Before joining us, Mary worked as a Growth Strategy & Business Design Associate Manager at Accenture Song. In that role, she led customer experience and business transformation projects for global clients in technology and financial services. She also served on secondment as an Associate Strategy Officer with the Gates Foundation’s gender equality division, where she helped shape investment strategies to advance digital inclusion for women and girls in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia.
Mary earned her MBA from London Business School, concentrating on marketing, strategy, and the business of sport. During her time there, she was a Forte Foundation Scholar and held leadership roles in several sports-focused clubs, including serving as President of the Sports Business Club, Basketball Club, and Snow Club. She also co-founded and led a Women in Poker training course and directed international partnerships for the MBA Sports Business Alliance.
Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Human-Centred Design from the University of California, where she graduated with High Honours. Mary has also actively participated in club basketball, triathlon races, and snow sports, and previously coached youth and women’s basketball teams.
