Mohamed is a Consultant at CAA Portas, currently focused on strategic transformation projects in the sports sector across the Middle East. He has contributed to initiatives including digital transformation, operational model development, and stakeholder engagement for major sporting bodies. Prior to joining us, he worked at Boston Consulting Group and Strategic Mind Consulting. He holds a BSc in Industrial and Systems Engineering from KFUPM.

Mohamed Rafia is a Consultant working with us at CAA Portas, primarily engaged in strategic transformation projects across the Middle East. He is currently supporting initiatives that span the development of operational models, digital transformation, and governance frameworks, particularly within the sports sector.

He has been contributing to the formulation of strategic plans and stakeholder engagement frameworks for major sporting bodies, including the successful submission of a key FIFA event bid. Mohamed has also been involved in revising national sports initiatives and developing the operational model for regional branches of the Ministry of Sports. His work has extended to the digital transformation of sports clubs, helping to implement a unified ERP system to streamline internal operations. In addition, he has supported the development of strategies for global cyber initiatives and a governance model for a global institute under the GCC cybersecurity authority. He has also contributed to three marketing and communication strategies for government authorities in Saudi Arabia.

Before joining us, Mohamed worked at Boston Consulting Group and Strategic Mind Consulting Company, where he gained experience in strategic advisory roles.

Outside of his consulting work, Mohamed actively participated in football, padel, and volleyball. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM).
