Yoko is a Senior Business Analyst at CAA Portas, supporting sustainability-focused urban development and international collaboration projects across Asia. She is analysing stakeholder needs, identifying partnership opportunities, and advising on strategic planning for regenerative community initiatives.

She has been leading work at CAA Portas that includes facilitating alliance agreements between Japanese developers and sustainability communities in Copenhagen and Amsterdam. Her responsibilities have included project scoping, cross-cultural coordination, and aligning business objectives with long-term sustainability goals. She has also contributed to regional projects by applying her experience in logistics and stakeholder engagement to ensure effective delivery.

Prior to joining the company, Yoko spent five years at a creative sustainability consulting firm in Amsterdam, where she connected Japanese companies with European sustainability leaders. She also worked at Nike Japan for three years in sports marketing, logistics, and interpretation, and at Dentsu for 2.5 years, where she helped coordinate international sports presentation efforts for the Tokyo Olympics.

Yoko served as Head Coach of the Japan Women’s Lacrosse National Team, leading them to their best-ever World Championship finish in 2022. She also coached the Hong Kong Women’s Representative Team and previously played for the Japan National Team. She is the founder and president of SELL, one of Japan’s leading lacrosse organizations.

She holds a postgraduate degree in Policy Management with a specialization in Sports Business from Keio University.
